The Unpacked event witnessed the unveiling not only of the highly anticipated Galaxy S23 but also of the new Galaxy Book 3 PC family.

A total of three models are included in this lineup, namely the Galaxy Book 3 Pro, the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360, and the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra.

While the Book 3 Pro sports the traditional clamshell design, the 360 comes in a 2-in-1 convertible form factor that also supports S Pen functionality.

But the star of the show is undoubtedly the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra.

The device was built from the very beginning to be a high-end computer, so it comes with a 16-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with 400 nits brightness and adaptive 120 Hz refresh rate. Power comes from up to an Intel Core i9 chip (13th Gen obviously) paired with a maximum of 32GB of RAM. As far as graphics are concerned, customers can choose from NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4070 and RTX 4050, while for storage, the highest you can go is 1TB of SSD.

The device has everything you’d need to be productive, including microSD support, Thunderbolt 4, and USB Type-A. A fingerprint sensor is also integrated into the power key.

“The new Galaxy Book3 Ultra and Pro series uses a full aluminum frame for a premium look and feel — ensuring an enhanced user experience while preserving its light, sleek and flat design,” Samsung says, as it tries to highlight the top build quality of the device.

Of course, the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra can’t be cheap. The device can already be pre-ordered, but shipping will start on February 17. The base configuration will cost $2,399, whereas the standard sibling with the clamshell design will be available from $1,449.
