Samsung announced today during its Unpacked 2018 live event the Galaxy Note 9 smartphone with its all-new powerful S Pen and amazing features, as well as two new devices, the Galaxy Watch smartwatch and Galaxy Home smart speaker.

Featuring a premium design that makes it look like a traditional, expensive mechanical watch, the new powerful Samsung Galaxy Watch smartwatch features a long-lasting battery and LTE connectivity, advanced wellness features and fitness tracking, Samsung’s signature rotating bezel, as well as a wide range of style options from several new bands to three new watch color finishes.

"The new Galaxy Watch was designed for all lifestyles to help meet consumer needs, such as more efficient battery life to stay connected longer, and better wellness tracking to help users maintain their goals – we are delivering them with connected experiences, all at the touch of a wrist," said DJ Koh, President and CEO of IT & Mobile Communications Division, Samsung Electronics.

The Samsung Galaxy Watch smartwatch promises to help you meet your daily fitness goals by automatically tracking six popular exercises while also tracking your heart rate throughout the day and prompting you with breathing exercises thanks an all-new stress management tracker. Galaxy Watch can also monitor your sleep, including REM cycles, with its advanced sleep tracker.

A total of 39 activities are supported by the Galaxy Watch, which also promises to help you track food and water intake via the Samsung Health app on your Samsung smartphone. With LTE support, Samsung Watch lets you answer calls, respond to text messages, stream music, and use GPS mapping on-the-go. It's also compatible with Samsung Pay, Bixby, and SmartThings, and it's powered by the Linux-based Tizen mobile operating system.

Samsung Galaxy Watch comes in 42mm or 46mm versions and it's available in Silver, Midnight Black, and Rose Gold colors.
