Romancing SaGa 3, the remaster of the Super Nintendo game originally released in 1995, has just received a release date in the West. Square Enix announced a remastered version of the Romancing SaGa 3 will release for PC, Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, and Xbox One on November 11.

Along with the RPG classic, Square Enix announced the spin-off SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions will release for the first time in the Americas shortly after on December 3. Both games will feature optimized graphics for modern consoles, as well as new content and updated gameplay controls.

This is a big opportunity for those who are too young or simply haven't had the chance to play it to try out the jRPG. In Romancing SaGa 3, players are given the option to choose between eight different narratives led by eight protagonists, each with their own personalities and playstyles.

The HD remastered version will feature optimized graphics, a new dungeon called the “Phantom Maze,” and a NEW GAME+ mode. On top of that, the remaster adds new storylines to the game, which makes the upcoming Romancing SaGa 3 an interesting title for both veterans and newcomers to the series.

The spin-off SaGa Scarlet Grace: Ambitions is some kind of enhanced version of the original game launched in 2016, which is exclusively available in Japan. The game has been gifted with a host of improvements and additions, such as enhanced graphics, character voiceovers, two new characters that haven't been included in the original game and much more.

Just like in the Romancing SaGa 3, players will experience unique storylines depending on what character they choose to play with. It adds some replayability to the games as well since players can enjoy different adventures every time they start a new game with another character.
