Don't expect any meaningful changes to the story though

Some of you might remember Remothered: Broken Porcelain, the sequel/prequel to the horror game Remothered: Tormented Fathers launched back in 2018. Well, suffice to say that it didn't meet our expectations and neither to those of its fans.

It was obvious from the beginning that the game needed more time in development, but for whatever reasons, developer Modus Games and developer Stormind Games decided that Remothered: Broken Porcelain is ready for primetime.

After taking the feedback from players to heart, the developer announced earlier today that a new patch, the latest from a long line of updates meant to fix the game, is now available for PC and console players.

Stormind Games has been hard at work patching Broken Porcelain to ensure players experience the game as intended. The game is now at its most polished state yet, thanks to the help of our devoted community of players that have taken the time to write to us and report bugs. We can’t stop thanking all the fans who have supported the game from the beginning, and those who have acknowledged our hard work and our love for the players,” said Antonio Cannata, CEO and co-founder of Stormind Games.

On PC, the new patch fixes several issues with the game, adds a tutorial to help explain how to use special items, improves some game systems, and adds some missing facial animations. Console players will get another set of fixes, along with improved animations and some minor missing audio.

Owners of the game who'd like to revisit the game will be pleased to know that the previous updates to the game include general optimization, bug fixes, lighting and music improvements, polished animations, and more. Make sure to visit Modus Games' website for the full patch notes.
