Fittingly named We Create Stuff, the studio behind In Sound Mind psychological horror, has just announced their game finally has a release date. Fans of the horror genre will be thrilled to learn that they won’t have to wait too long for In Sound Mind, as the game is set for release on September 28.

More importantly, the game will be available on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X/S, with the Nintendo Switch version coming later this year. For those who’d like try out the game before buying it, a free demo is now available on Steam.

Along with the release date, publisher Modus Games also released a new trailer for the upcoming psychological horror game In Sound Mind, which showcases some of the puzzles and environments players will encounter.

You’ll be playing as therapist Desmond Wales, as he starts to search through his patients’ minds to find the truth behind of what has happened to the town of Milton Haven before he becomes a victim of his own mind.

It’s important to mention that In Sound Mind offers a first-person psychological horror experience, as players will have to tackle unpredictable dangers stirring within memories. The team behind In Sound Mind promise to turn what may look like simple recollections into shocking encounters with terrifying threats, unbelievable scenes, and a mysterious talking cat for good measure.

If you’re not convinced that this is worth your time, know that In Sound Mind is made by the same team that created cult classic Nightmare House 2, one of the highest-rated mods of all time, which started as a small map pack for Half-Life 2 back in 2005.

Fans of the horror genre can wishlist In Sound Mind on Steam before the game launches on PC and next-generation consoles later this month.
