They will only be available for a limited time

After Microsoft revealed that MLB The Show will be available on Xbox Games Pass at launch, Sony is trying to balance things out and add two triple A games to its PlayStation Now lineup. As the title says, Square Enix's Marvel's Avengers and Gearbox's Borderlands 3 will be available to PlayStation Now subscribers starting this month.

Besides the two popular titles, PlayStation Now subscribers will also receive The Long Dark in April. All three games will join the PlayStation Now catalog starting tomorrow, April 6, but they will be available for a limited time.

For example, Marvel's Avengers will only be part of the PlayStation Now subscription service until July 5, 2021, while Borderlands 3 can only be played until September 29, 2021. The Long Dark doesn't have a limited availability date, so it probably hasn't been decided or you'll be able to play it for a very long time (like forever?).

Those who'd like to play either of the two major titles revealed today but don't have a PlayStation Now subscription can check them out anyway using the seven-day trial available for both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.

Keep in mind though that the trial is available starting April 7 and will be open to anyone who is currently not subscribed to PlayStation Now. Players who decide to take advantage of the seven-day trial will be able to access hundreds of PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, and PlayStation 2 games on demand, including the three games announced today.

Obviously, since PlayStation Now is not available in all countries, you'll want to know if you're eligible for the seven-day trial. Well, here is the list of regions where players should be able to activate the 7-day trial: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, The Netherlands, United Kingdom, and the United States.
