The first Pixel 3 leaks have started to arrive, and it looks like it’s going to have a notch and that the displays will be made by LG.

Most likely, Google has been working on Pixel 3 before the launch of the current generation, but only now we’ve started to see the first leaks. Usually, the first information that shows up online is not all that revealing, but that’s not the case. We now have a lot more details than we would have expected.

It’s important to mention that these leaks seem to be true, but as always there is a good chance that we’re taken for a ride. In any case, everyone should be careful not to read too much into it, because it can prove to be false in the end.

To notch or not to notch

If the information provided by the leaks are true, then it looks like we’re looking at the first Pixel phone with a notch. But Google is not prepared to bet everything on the notch, and it’s a fortunate happenstance that Google has two models.

As you can see in the image, the smaller version, the regular Pixel 3 phone, doesn’t have a notch, but the bigger one does. From the frame, we can also deduce that it’s going to have dual speakers, which is always a nice feature.

Furthermore, the leaks are saying that both will come with OLED screens built by LG. It’s important to mention that the next generation of iPhone is also going to have OLED screens made by LG. It’s going to be interesting to see if LG can do both.

In any case, this is pretty much the extent of the information available right now, but Google usually can’t keep its Pixel details private, and we’ll most likely know more about it in the coming weeks.
