It's also going to use Qualcomm Snapdragon 845, reportedly

The upcoming Pixel 3 lineup from Google is being revealed through more leaks, and it looks like the company is really trying to build some real competition.

Google doesn’t usually care about the competition, which in this case it’s both the iPhone and the Samsung Galaxy. They are doing their own thing and don't seem to care all that much about sales or recouping investments. To this day, it’s still not clear whether the Pixel phones are making back the money invested in them.

In any case, the Google Pixel phones are considered high-end, and the company is looking to improve on that. Up until now, Google has been working with the likes of LG or HTC, but that’s not the case anymore. It looks like they are just going to get the displays from LG, according to a recent leak, but they are no longer going to other phone manufacturers for help.

This could be the one

If the latest information is correct, Google is preparing two Pixel models. The large version has a notch and edge-to-edge display, and the smaller one is using the classic design. Both of them should feature stereo speakers.

According to a report on winfuture.de, Google is also looking to work with Foxconn on the upcoming devices, which just so happens to be the same company that makes the iPhones. It’s also reported that it’s going to use the Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 platform, although that’s not entirely unexpected.

The launch date for the Pixel 3 XL and Pixel 3 phones should be around August or September, along with the release of Android P.

Just recently, a photo with the display panels for both phones showed up online, and the latest leaks seem to confirm that it’s true. Now, a pretty convincing render is taking over the Internet, and it’s already a love it or hate it situation. You can check it out yourself.
