OnePlus is projected to launch its very own smartwatch on March 23, and thanks to a new leak today, we get an early look at the specifications of this new highly anticipated device.

The OnePlus Watch will come in just one 46mm size, according to a report from Pricebaba citing Ishan Agarwal, who has a good track on leaking information about unreleased products.

On the other hand, OnePlus will offer two different colors, namely silver and black, both coming with an IP68 rating allowing for top water and dust resistance.

And speaking of the IP68 rating, this is a must-have given the device would also sport a swim mode, thus being able to track your swimming sessions. No further details have been provided in this regard, but expect the swimming mode to come alongside tracking for a wide variety of workouts.

Full launch on March 23

OnePlus has specifically focused on the health side of the device, so multiple capabilities have been introduced in this regard, including stress tracking. The smartwatch will also be able to monitor the heart activity, though right now it’s not clear if an ECG function would be offered, as well as to provide SpO2 readings.

While the operating system powering the device hasn’t been disclosed, the OnePlus Watch will first and foremost play the role of a smartwatch. So it’ll offer support for notifications, music playback, and as it turns out, phone calls, though it’s not yet known if it’ll include a microphone and a speaker.

It looks like OnePlus is also planning an LTE version of the device, so such hardware makes sense to allow for full phone calls without the need for a phone.

The watch will be fitted with a fast charge system providing approximately one week of battery life in just 20 minutes.

Full details, including pricing, will be disclosed on March 23 during an official press event.
