NVIDIA has made available a new graphics driver, namely the 451.77 STUDIO package, which provides full support for the new DirectX 12 Ultimate graphics API that includes support for DirectX Raytracing (DXR) 1.1, mesh shaders, sampler feedback, and variable-rate shading (VRS), Hardware-accelerated GPU Scheduling.

Moreover, this release adds support for Vulkan 1.2, includes bug fixes for creative apps from Adobe, Autodesk, Blender, Chaos, and Corel, removes Devil May Cry 5 object flickering, corrects Resident Evil 2 Remake flickering, and resolves certain Sea of Thieves issues.

In addition to that, NVIDIA manages to fix noisy videos seen after adjusting Lumetri color in Adobe Premiere, makes sure Just Cause 2 game properly detects CUDA files, resolves Divinity Original Sin 2 - Definitive Edition low-performance issues, and corrects several problems as highlighted in the Release Notes below.

In terms of compatibility, the four available files are only suitable for the 64-bit variants of Microsoft’s Windows 10 operating, and can be used on either desktop and notebook configurations.

However, take into account that two of the there packages are targeted at Windows 10: one DCH (Declarative, Componentized, Hardware Support Apps) and one Standard file. To see what is ok for your configuration, locate Driver Type under the System Information menu in the NVIDIA Control Panel.

Therefore, if you have encountered these issues, save the appropriate file for your computer’s operating system, run it, wait for all data required for the installation to be extracted, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete and successful upgrade.
