The update adds support for new AI-powered neural filters

NVIDIA has announced the availability of a new version of its Quadro Graphics driver, namely version 457.09, which implements support for the new AI-powered neural filters that enable complex image adjustments to be quickly made.

In addition to that, NVIDIA adds GPU-accelerated hardware decoding in Adobe Premiere Pro, enabling faster and smoother video playback and increased responsiveness when scrubbing high-resolution, multi-stream footage.

However, take into account that the current update might still encounter crashes with the Alchemist app when changing resolution or switching to a second monitor (with a different resolution). As a workaround, you must stick to a resolution prior to opening the Alchemist application.

In terms of compatibility, the release is only suitable for the 64-bit architecture of Microsoft’s Windows 10 and Windows 10 DCH platforms, and can be applied on both desktop and notebook configurations.

When it comes to installation, first save the appropriate executable for your computer, run the setup, wait for all files required to be extracted, and follow all instructions displayed on the screen for a complete upgrade.

Once finished, make sure to perform a system reboot to allow all changes to take effect properly. If this task isn’t requested automatically, it would be a good idea to carry it out manually to avoid any issues.
