A different game for various hardware tiers

Nvidia revealed the video game bundles that are going to be available this holiday with their selection of video cards.

Most of the time, Nvidia bundles some games with their hardware, and it looks like they have decided on a new selection of titles that will be available during the upcoming holidays.

As you would expect, these are not old games, but new(ish) ones that can take advantage of the full power the latest GPUs are providing. There are different games for various tiers, so not everyone is going to get the same stuff.

Fortnite rules, apparently

There is no doubt that Fortnite is one of the biggest names in gaming right now, and Nvidia could not ignore this aspect. It’s also true that it’s not a particularly hardware intensive title, so most people will be able to play it.

“Gamers that purchase a new GeForce GTX 1070 Ti, 1070, or 1060 -based graphics card, desktop PC or laptop will receive 2000 V-Bucks and the NVIDIA Fortnite Counterattack Set, which includes a rare ‘Reflex’ Outfit with ‘Response Unit’ Back Bling, as well as, an uncommon ‘Pivot’ Glider and ‘Angular Axe’ Pickaxe gear. This Fortnite gear is only available via this bundle,” Nvidia writes.

The promotion for this Fortnite bundle should expire January 29th, 2019, but it’s also limited by supplies. Nvidia didn’t forget about other customers, so everyone buying GeForce GTX 1070 Ti, 1070, or 1060-based graphics card will receive Capcom’s Monster Hunter World. The promotion is set to end on January 7th, 2019.

The high tier customers who go for GeForce RTX 2080 Ti, GeForce RTX 2080 or a GeForce RTX 2070-based graphics card (and official desktop PCs) will get a copy of Battlefield V, which is also the newest title in the lot. The promotion for this bundle is also set to expire on January 7th, 2019 as well.
