There are no reports of failed installs either, as these updates apparently work smoothly for everyone

Microsoft has released this month’s Patch Tuesday updates a few hours ago, but what’s more newsworthy isn’t necessarily the available of new cumulative updates, but the simple fact that no new known issues are confirmed for Windows clients.

The latest two Windows 10 versions are provided with cumulative update KB4540673 (for both version 1903 and 1909), and according to Microsoft, there’s no known bug that could affect Home and Pro users.

More specifically, this cumulative update only includes one issue that impacts Windows Server. Microsoft explains the following in the official KB page of the new update:

“When using Windows Server containers with the March 10, 2020 updates, you might encounter issues with 32-bit applications and processes.”

What’s new in this cumulative update?

This new cumulative update for Windows 10 version 1903 and version 1909 comes to resolve a bug that prevented a number of users from upgrading the operating system due to a corruption error in third-party assemblies. And of course, since it lands on Patch Tuesday, it comes with several notable security fixes to resolve vulnerabilities in the OS and the pre-loaded apps.

“Security updates to Windows App Platform and Frameworks, Windows Media, Windows Silicon Platform, Microsoft Edge, Internet Explorer, Windows Fundamentals, Windows Authentication, Windows Peripherals, Windows Update Stack, and Windows Server,” the changelog reads.

Microsoft has resolved more than 100 vulnerabilities in this month’s Patch Tuesday rollout.

At the time of writing, there are no reports of failed installs or any other issues with the March 2020 Windows 10 cumulative update. But of course, many users are only now installing these updates, so it remains to be seen if new problems are reported in the coming days as the rollout continued.
