Microsoft has just released another Dev build for Microsoft Edge testers, with the company explaining that these are the last refinements version 102 is getting before it switched to 103.

Microsoft Edge Dev build 102.0.1245.3 is therefore available for download today, and the changelog includes lots of goodies, including new capabilities and plenty of fixes.

For example, Microsoft says it has added support for a custom IE mode list in Settings, as well as the ability to add a password directly in Settings. The browser also comes with support for xCloud Clarity Boost by default, Microsoft says.

When it comes to fixes, Microsoft has resolved crashes occurring when closing a tab, sending feedback, when syncing (this one only happened on Macs), and when viewing certain Settings pages.

The known issues

As far as the known issues are concerned, they haven’t changed too much lately, so the old ones are still there. For example, Gmail might fail to load if you run Kaspersky Internet Suite, and playback errors on YouTube could be encountered if certain ad blocking extensions are installed.

“Some users are seeing “wobbling” behavior when scrolling using trackpad gestures or touchscreens, where scrolling in one dimension also causes the page to subtly scroll back and forth in the other.  Note that this only affects certain websites and seems to be worse on certain devices.  This is most likely related to our ongoing work to bring scrolling back to parity with Edge Legacy’s behavior, so if this behavior is undesirable, you can temporarily turn it off by disabling the edge://flags/#edge-experimental-scrolling flag,” Microsoft explains about one of the known issues.

Of course, it’s important to keep in mind this is a Dev build, which means that you could still come across other bugs given it’s not a stable release.
