One of the most popular anime in Europe, My Hero Academia is getting its own game. More than 20 million people have already watched the two seasons of the anime series, which makes sense the announcement of a third season set to debut in 2018.

But enough about the anime series, so let's see what the game is all about. First off, My Hero Game Project is a collaboration between Bandai Namco and VIZ Media Europe, but the game is developed by BYKING Studios.

My Hero Game Project is an action-adventure type of game where players will employ the use of the so-called Quirks, superpowers that should help in fights against superheroes and supervillains.

Ironically, the story follows a boy born without superpowers in a world where these are the norm. Luckily, he finds a way to make use of superpowers with the help of a certain superhero.

Little is known about the actual game, but Bandai Namco has just released a trailer and some screenshots that should offer fans a sneak peek. Apparently, players will battle either on the ground or in the air, thus making use of the walls and tall buildings in the game.

And I believe that's everything we have about My Hero Game Project in terms of gameplay mechanics or story. Hopefully, more details about Bandai Namco's upcoming action-adventure game will be announced soon.

The good news is My Hero Game Project will be launched on just about any meaningful platform, which means you'll be able to play it on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch or PC.

Bandai Namco has yet to announce when exactly the game will be out, but they publisher did confirm My Hero Game Project will arrive on all platforms sometime in 2018. So, there you have it folks, another great anime series is getting its own video game.
