14 DAY TRIAL // Mozilla announced today new releases of its privacy-focused Firefox Focus web browser for the iOS and Android mobile operating systems, as well as for BlackBerry KEY2 devices.
Launched in December 2015, the Firefox Focus web browser focuses on blocking unwanted content to offer users private and secure browsing sessions. It's already available for Apple's iOS and Google's Android mobile platforms, and starting today you can also install it on the BlackBerry KEY2 devices.
"Bringing Firefox’s features, functionality and choice to our users no matter how they browse is important to us," said Mozilla in today's blog announcement. "So we’re proud to announce that Firefox Focus is pre-installed as part of the Locker application found on the BlackBerry KEY2."
BlackBerry KEY2 owners can access Firefox Focus' private browsing experiences only with their fingerprint or by using a password, which ensures the devices isn't compromised in any way and continues to offer the same level of security and privacy BlackBerry devices are famous for.

Mozilla also updated its Firefox Focus web browser for iOS and Android today with support for the Touch ID and Face ID or Face Unlock biometric authentication technologies that most of today's smartphones and tablets offer. After all, Firefox Focus focuses on privacy, so an extra layer of security is always welcome.
iOS users will be able to set up Firefox Focus to lock whenever they exit the app and then unlock it with Face ID on iPhone X or Touch ID on other supported devices. Other than that, the latest Firefox Focus release improves support for Custom Tabs and adds a "Find in page" feature that's available for all websites.
The new "Find in Page" feature can be easily accessed from the Focus menu, where you'll also find a new "Request desktop site" feature that lets you request the desktop version of the website you're visiting if it's not optimized for mobile.
