Earbuds have become super-popular these days, and tech companies out there invest in new products that should essentially provide customers with better audio quality, increased battery life, and new capabilities that don’t exist already.

Mobvoi is one of the names that have always impressed with its innovations, no matter if we’re talking about smartwatches or earbuds, and the company’s latest product aligns with this approach.

Called Earbuds Gesture, the new earbuds come with motion-sensing technology for one very simple yet truly advanced purpose: to allow you to control everything with gestures.

TicMotion, a system that was first introduced on the TicPods 2 Pro, allows you to control the main capabilities, such as answer phone calls, with head gestures, so you can node or shake the head to pick up or reject calls.

New color, 50 hours of battery life

In addition, the earbuds also come with dual-mic isolation, USB-C charging, and touch controls, so you can accept a call with a double-tap, hang up with a long press for two seconds, play and pause music with a double-tap and wake the default voice assistant with a long press for two seconds.

And speaking on digital assistants, the Mobvoi Earbuds Gesture can work with Siri, Google Assistant, and Alexa through touch controls.

As far as the battery life is concerned, the 90 mA battery provides 10 hours of playback, while the extra 600 mA packed into the case adds nearly five full charges, which means you get 50 hours more battery life.

The new earbuds also come in a new black color called Raiven, and the design overall is similar to the one of the TicPods Free.

The new earbuds are already available for purchase from Mobvoi, and the pricing regardless of the color is $89.99 / £79.99 / €89.99. A 22% discount is also offered today.
