Today, MikroTik has made available a new RouterOS firmware package targeted at its devices, namely version 6.37 RC 15 (Release Candidate), which is compatible with each of its ARM, PPC, MIPS-BE, x86, Tile, and SMIPS architectures.

When it comes to changes, the present update resolves the Capsman’s upgrade policy and the report radio-name in registration table, fixes the SSTP disconnections during multicore system transmissions, and allows optional IPv6 src address.

In addition to that, the developer adds an src-address field for traffic-flow target, no longer displays Ethernet flow control settings for interfaces that do not support them, and fixes the WinBox disconnections issues encountered when no windows were opened for a while in unsecured mode.

Moreover, with this firmware, webfig won’t crash if the radius server doesn’t give out the encryption keys, users will be able to specify SSTP proxy by DNS name, and the Health section won’t display PSU and Fan info for passive cooling devices anymore.

Last but not least, users will now benefit from additional improvements to raw firewall rules, be able to configure “query-server-timeout” and “query-total-timeout” settings only greater than 0s, as well as receive fixes for the lockup problems when using certain DNS server values.

That said, download MikroTik RouterOS Firmware 6.37 RC 15 for your appropriate architecture, familiarize yourself with the installation method, apply it, and constantly check our website to stay “updated one minute ago.”
