Microsoft Surface Laptop Go is a very compelling device, not only in terms of features but also as far as the price is concerned. And given it sports the typical Surface build quality, it therefore offers excellent value for the money.

Microsoft is very committed to improving the overall experience with this device, and new firmware updates come in handy to those who expect additional polishing especially on Windows 11.

The most recent firmware update for the Surface Laptop Go comes with improved device stability, with Microsoft explaining that it resolved some BSODs that the device might be hitting.

And in addition, the Redmond-based software giant says the new firmware update improves graphics stability and offers better battery life on Windows 11 if the OS has already been installed.

Microsoft Surface Laptop Go

Microsoft launched the Surface Laptop Go in October 2020 as a way to bring the high-end features available on the Surface Laptop to a more affordable form factor.

“With Surface Laptop Go we are bringing the features most loved by our Surface Laptop customers to a smaller, more affordable design. For people who need to stay connected and want the versatility of a 2:1 with a gorgeous, edge-to-edge screen, we’re also bringing new updates to Surface Pro X including new app experiences, enhanced performance and a new Platinum finish. And for anyone looking to refresh their home office or home classroom setup we’re offering several new Surface and Microsoft accessories,” Microsoft said last year.

The Surface Laptop Go can also be updated to Windows 11, and in theory, it should be just as snappy as on Windows 10. The device can be purchased from the Microsoft Store starting at $549.99 in three different colors, namely Ice Blue, Sandstone, and Platinum.
