A new study that Microsoft is bragging about these days indicates that the Surface lineup has become more successful than Apple’s devices both at home and at the office, and employees actually prefer Windows hardware instead of MacBooks and iPads.

Conducted by Creative Strategies on a panel of 1,300 US consumers, the study that no less than 72% percent of the users who work on a Microsoft Surface would actually want to use it for personal things as well, versus 65% in the case of the Apple MacBook.

Furthermore, the Surface Pro has outclassed the Apple iPad Pro by 11% when it comes to people who want to replace their laptops with 2-in-1 devices.

And in case you’re wondering why, it’s because most Surface owners are proud to be seen using a Microsoft device. No less than 77% of the respondents said they enjoy showing up at work with a Surface, while only 52% of them said the same thing about Apple devices.

“Buy Surface for your employees”

Furthermore, the study shows that most employees who receive a Surface model feel more cared about than those who receive Apple devices, despite both brands said to be on par when it comes to creativity.

“People who perceive the Surface as the leading notebook brand over Apple do so because they see it as the best implementation of Windows and Office,” the study shows. “Employees who use Apple for work feel strongly that Surface devices have the best implementation of Windows 10.”

The research also reveals that most consumers see Microsoft’s Surface lineup “the only brand” that can compete against Apple.

Microsoft ends up the post by recommending business leaders to embrace Surface models and buy them for employees, explaining that most “will love the fact that you invested in them because there is a sense of pride that comes from owning a Surface.”
