Microsoft has released a new preview build for Windows insiders in the Fast and Skip Ahead rings as the company advances towards the next major Windows 10 feature update due in the fall.

Windows 10 build 17692 is the first one to integrate SwiftKey right into the touch keyboard, making it easier to type by simply swiping across the keyboard to get more accurate autocorrections and predictions. For the moment, SwiftKey support is available for a limited set of languages, such as English and French, but this feature will be further improved with the next builds.

Microsoft has also added several accessibility refinements, and starting with this build, users are allowed to make text bigger from Settings > Ease of Access> Display > Make everything bigger. Settings will apply to system, Win32 programs, and UWP apps.

Improved search

The Narrator is also receiving several improvements like selection in Scan Mode, automatic dialog reading, and a Find feature, while the Game bar is being updated with audio controls and performance visualization to see game’s framerate (FPS), CPU usage, GPU VRAM usage, and system RAM usage.

Windows 10 build 17692 integrates an overhauled search experience as well, as Microsoft has updated it to make it easier to find file downloads. Just type the name of the program together with the term download, and Windows 10 should display information to quickly download the file.

As with every other build, there are several other changes, improvements, and fixes, and you can check them out in full in the box after the jump.

At the same time, Microsoft has also published a list of known issues, which affect not only the OS but also new features like the Game bar, and you are recommended to have a look at them before installing in order to know what to expect when upgrading.
