Microsoft has released new cumulative updates for all Windows 10 versions as part of the December 2019 Patch Tuesday cycle.

While all Windows 10 versions are getting patched, it’s important to know that only version 1809 and newer are still being served for Home, Pro, Pro Education, and Pro for Workstations editions.

Windows 10 version 1909, or November 2019 Update, is also getting the first update after its launch (the first cumulative update, labeled as KB4524570, was shipped to devices where the new feature update was installed on day one). However, Windows 10 version 1909 and version 1903 share the same cumulative update.

Updates available right now from Windows Update

The list of cumulative updates going live this month is this:

• Windows 10 version 1507 - KB4530681 (OS Build 10240.18427) • Windows 10 version 1607 - KB4530689 (OS Build 14393.3384) • Windows 10 version 1703 - KB4530711 (OS Build 15063.2224) • Windows 10 version 1709 - KB4530714 (OS Build 16299.1565) • Windows 10 version 1803 - KB4530717 (OS Build 17134.1184) • Windows 10 version 1809 - KB4530715 (OS Build 17763.914) • Windows 10 version 1903/1909 - KB4530684 (OS Builds 18362.535 and 18363.535)

Windows 10 cumulative update KB4524570 for version 1903 and 1909 (November 12) comes with a total of four improvement, one of which concerns security patches for Microsoft Scripting Engine, Internet Explorer, Microsoft Edge, and other Windows components. There are also fixes for the Intel Processor Machine Check Error vulnerability and protections against the Intel Transactional Synchronization Extensions (Intel TSX) Transaction Asynchronous Abort vulnerability.

Last but not least, this cumulative update resolves an issue in the Keyboard Lockdown Subsystem, with Microsoft explaining that it might not filter key input correctly in Windows 10.

The new cumulative update, KB4530684, adds smaller fixes and more security patches for OS components.

There are no new known issues in this cumulative update, and users can download and install it from Windows Update.
