Microsoft has recently released a new Windows 11 cumulative update for insiders, and while this is typically good news for those who are part of the testing program, there’s nothing to be very excited about this time.

Windows 11 cumulative update KB5016159, which is live right now in the Dev channel, increases the OS build number to 25145.1011, and its role is specifically to test the servicing pipeline.

In other words, it doesn’t include any new features and fixes, as Microsoft just wants to make sure everything is working properly via Windows Update.

“We are starting to roll out Cumulative Update Build 25145.1011 (KB5016159). This update does not include anything new and is designed to test our servicing pipeline for builds in the Dev Channel,” Microsoft says.

New OneDrive options in Settings

Otherwise, the Windows 11 build has remained unchanged from 25145, which was released to the Dev channel earlier this week.

One of the most notable changes is the debut of more OneDrive management options in the Settings app bundled with Windows 11.

“In March, we enhanced the Microsoft 365 subscription management experience in Windows 11 Settings and added the ability to view your payment method on your Microsoft 365 subscription in Accounts within Settings,” Microsoft explained.

“Starting with today’s build, we have begun enabling OneDrive Standalone 100GB subscriptions in the Accounts page within Settings, similar to the Microsoft 365 subscriptions. This will allow you to view your recurring billing, payment method, and OneDrive storage usage within Windows 11. Additionally, if you are close to or above your OneDrive storage limit, you will be informed on the same page.”

This feature, however, isn’t available for all members of the Windows Insider program, as Microsoft says it’s rolling it out gradually to collect more feedback on how everything works.
