Microsoft has released the very first ISO images for its next Windows 10 feature update, currently codenamed 19H2 and due to be finalized this month.

Additionally, the software giant has also released ISOs for Windows 10 20H1, which is projected to ship to production devices in the spring of 2020.

However, note that these ISO images are only aimed at users enrolled in the Windows Insider program and should only be used for testing the upcoming feature updates for Windows 10.

Windows 10 19H2

The next Windows 10 update, currently codenamed 19H2, won’t bring too many substantial changes, and many actually describe it as a little more than a traditional service pack.

According to Microsoft’s typical release schedule, it should be finalized this month, with the rollout to devices that aren’t part of the Windows Insider testing program to kick off in October or November the latest.

Windows 10 19H2 can be downloaded by users in the Slow and Release Preview rings, and these new ISOs allow the clean installation of build 18363.

Windows 10 20H1

As compared to the fall of 2019 feature update, Windows 10 20H1, which should be ready in March next year and then released in April or May, will come with many more new features and improvements.

At this point, Microsoft is testing this update with help from insiders in the Fast ring, and the ISOs released today allow them to clean-install build 18970.

The 20H1 update will include new features like an option to start fresh using a system image stored in the cloud, as well as a refined tablet experience that is included in this latest build.

All ISO images are available in the same versions as before, namely the standard SKU, Enterprise and Home China.
