Microsoft has re-released Windows 10 cumulative update KB4032188, after the company previously published and pulled it a few minutes later on July 28.

KB4032188 is specifically aimed at systems running Windows 10 Creators Update, and it bumps OS version to 15063.502, bringing a series of non-security fixes that are supposed to address problems discovered in the operating system since the previous update.

According to the official release notes, cumulative update KB4032188 addresses problems experienced by users with device drivers, which before the update were not loading, but also with a dropped key on the Microsoft Surface Keyboard and the Microsoft Surface Ergo keyboard, plus bugs leading to Wacom active pen connection failures.

USB Type-C improvements, driver bugfixes

Microsoft says that this cumulative update also improves stability for USB Type-C during device arrival and removal when system power changes are detected, and also refines reliability of Skype calls when using Bluetooth headsets with Hands-Free Profile connections.

What’s also very important is that this cumulative update fixes a problem caused by a previous patch rolled out in June, with Microsoft says that it was aware of bugs causing some applications to fail to launch when a device resumed from Connected Standby mode.

The full changelog is available in the box after the jump, and Microsoft says that no known bugs exist at this point, but as with any other cumulative update, we’ll be keeping an eye on reports and let you know should any failed installs be experienced.

All the improvements that are part of cumulative update KB4032188 will be part of the next security update planned for this month’s Patch Tuesday, but you’re recommended to install this new release anyway. Cumulative updates include all the previously-released fixes, so installing the latest one always brings a system up-to-date.

A system reboot is required to complete the install of this update, and IT admins are recommended to save the work before starting deployment in their network.
