If you’re looking for a brand-new Surface computer, there’s no better time to purchase one than right now, as Microsoft’s offering a big price cut for the Pro X.

Available on select configurations, the Surface Pro X discount is listed on the company’s Amazon store, albeit it’s only offered for select configurations.

For example, the Microsoft Surface Pro X with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage can now be purchased for $1,038, down from the standard price of $1,299. This is a $261 discount, which is actually one of the biggest price cuts that the company has offered for this model since its launch.

On the other hand, the Surface Pro X with 16GB RAM and 256GB of storage can be yours today from Microsoft’s Amazon store for $1,469. This is the same standard price for the model, with no price cut offered for this particular configuration.

New Surface model just around the corner

The Pro X configuration with 16GB RAM and 512GB storage is almost out of stock, as only 1 unit can be purchased from Amazon. This a used model, however, as new devices are no longer available.

Like the other Surface models, the Pro X comes in a 2-in-1 form factor that allows it to double as a laptop when the keyboard is detached. This is something that defines Microsoft’s Surface lineup, as only the Surface Laptop and the Surface Studio all-in-one computers come with a more traditional form factor.

Microsoft is also projected to launch the Surface Duo dual-screen Android device in the coming weeks, most likely by the end of the month. It’s believed the company wants to introduce this smartphone before August 5 when Samsung is projected to announce the Galaxy Note20 and the Galaxy Fold 2, with the latter considered one of the most advanced rivals to the new Duo.
