Microsoft has just announced Windows 10 November 2021 Update, with the first users allowed to download it right away.

While all eyes are on Windows 11 these days, many people have no other option than to stick with Windows 10 because their devices are not supported by the new operating system.

The good news is Microsoft will continue to support Windows 10 until October 2025, as per the original support policy, with the company to also ship additional feature updates for this version.

Today, Microsoft introduces Windows 10 November 2021 Update, the next feature update for Windows 10 which is live right now for the first users.

Rolling out right now

That’s right, Microsoft is also using a rollout in stages, just like for Windows 11, as this approach gives the company the opportunity of finding bugs early and preventing them from hitting more devices with upgrade blocks.

“Hybrid and remote environments for working, learning and playing have become the new normal, and we understand how important and central your PC is to your life. As a result, we are taking the same measured approach to the rollout of the November 2021 Update as we have with previous releases, to help enable a smooth update. We will be throttling up availability over the coming weeks to ensure a reliable download experience for all, so the update may not be offered to you right away. In these cases, we will not offer the feature update until we are confident that you will have a good update experience,” Microsoft announced.

Needless to say, the update to Windows 10 November 2021 Update is completely free, and if it’s already available on your device, just head over to Windows Update to get it.

Microsoft hasn’t provided an ETA for broad availability, but this shouldn’t take too long given it’s a minor feature update.
