Microsoft started the rollout of a new Windows 11 feature update. Known as Moment 2, this new release includes plenty of features, all of which have previously been available for users in the Insider program.

The feature lineup is huge, and it includes widgets improvements, such as a full-screen interface that allows you to experience this feature in a more convenient way. Third-party widgets are also coming to users, including Spotify and Messenger.

Additionally, Microsoft is implementing energy recommendations in the Settings app, while Notepad is getting tabs.

With the launch of new Widgets, we are creating a better experience for you, and new ways for developers to reach Windows customers,” Panos Panay announced.

But one of the biggest changes is without a doubt the integration of the new Bing experience in Windows 11.

Using the power of AI, Microsoft has pretty much reinvented Bing, with ChatGPT-powered technology that providing next-generation interaction with a search engine.

The new Bing is now integrated into the Windows taskbar.

“Today, we take the next major step forward adding to the incredible breadth and ease of use of the Windows PC by implementing a typable Windows search box and the amazing capability of the new AI-powered Bing directly into the taskbar. Putting all your search needs for Windows in one easy to find location,” Panay explained.

The new release is already live for Windows 11 version 22H2 users who manually check for updates, while Microsoft says all devices would get it next month as part of the March Patch Tuesday.
