If you’re part of the Windows Insider program and want to start from scratch with the latest preview build, here’s some good news.

Microsoft has just released updated Windows 11 preview ISO images, and they allow you to install the latest build shipped today.

The Windows 11 build 22533 ISO images are therefore available for download right now, though you should keep in mind these allow you to test the most recent update live in the Dev channel.

What’s new in this build?

The most notable change in this new build concerns the flyout that Microsoft has redesigned specifically to align with the look of Windows 11.

“We have updated the flyout design for the hardware indicators for brightness, volume, camera privacy, camera on/off and airplane mode, to align with Windows 11 design principles. These new flyouts will appear when you press the volume or brightness keys on your laptop and will honor light/dark mode to give you a more coherent Windows experience. Brightness and volume indicators continue to be interactive with the update,” Microsoft says.

At the same time, it’s worth knowing that the widgets experience comes with several known issues, so if you rely on this feature, you’d better not plan to use the new build as your daily driver.

“Changing the taskbar alignment can cause the Widgets button to disappear from taskbar. When having multiple monitors, Widgets content on taskbar may get out of sync between monitors. With the taskbar left-aligned, information such as temperature is not shown. This will be fixed in a future update,” Microsoft says.

You can find the new Windows 11 ISO images on this page right here, though you should keep in mind that an increased likelihood still exists given they install a preview build shipped to users who are enrolled in the Dev channel.
