Microsoft has announced a new series of features coming to the Microsoft Edge browser, including a price comparison that lands just in time for the shopping season.

Using this new feature is pretty easy, as you only need to add a product to a collection and then click the option that reads compare prices to other retailers.

Then, Microsoft is updating Microsoft Edge with a Collections + Pinterest bundle that is supposed to help users find related items online.

“To get started, just add items to your collection. When enabled, you will see suggested Pins related to your collection at the bottom of the Collections pane. You can easily add these suggestions to your existing collection, or export your collection to a new board on Pinterest,” Microsoft says.

Meet Now integration

The browser is also getting a Meet Now button on the Edge new tab page, thus allow two people to connect faster. Meet Now is a new feature powered by Skype that makes it possible to create ad-hoc video calls without the need for accounts or anything like that.

“Simply click on Meet Now to start your own video chat; you can easily create a link to share with up to 50 friends who can join you for free – no sign up or download required.  Meet Now lets you share screens, chat with others and record sessions that last as long as you like2. This experience will start to roll out to Edge this month, and will be available in Outlook on the web and on the Windows 10 taskbar in the coming weeks, making it easier than ever to connect with your loved ones this holiday season,” Microsoft explains.

And last but not least, the browser is getting a web capture tool that allows users to take screenshots and then share them with contacts. Everything is built-in, so you don’t need a separate app for this purpose.
