Malwarebytes has just launched its very own VPN service, and in addition to promising a smooth Internet connection without any impact on speed, the company also guarantees full user privacy without any logs or telemetry data.

Called Malwarebytes Privacy, the new VPN service relies on a very straightforward UI that lets you check if the connection is privacy, see the actual IP address and the private IP address and find out which server you are connected to.

Malwarebytes says it’s using over 180 servers in more than 30 countries to run the VPN service.

“Malwarebytes Privacy is a next-gen VPN that helps protect your privacy and your personal information when you go online. Our VPN secures your connection, keeping your online activity private and protected. All your traffic travels through an encrypted tunnel to our VPN servers, then onward to the website you are visiting. This way, websites see the VPN’s identity instead of yours. Any information that your ISP saves cannot be tied to you,” the company says.

Two subscription plans

The new VPN service isn’t available free of charge, but with a choice of two different plans called Privacy and Privacy + Premium.

The Privacy version is available for $59.99 per year and can be used on up to 5 devices and comes with the full VPN package. The Privacy + Premium plan, on the other hand, is available for $89.99 and includes not only VPN features, but also device security tools to prevent threats in real-time and block ransomware.

Furthermore, this upgraded plan comes with protection against harmful sites and cleans and removes malware on your device using the company’s scanning engine.

The VPN capabilities are only available on Windows, but Malwarebytes says it’s also working on a version of Mac, iOS, Android, and Chrome devices.
