Developer Blini Games and publisher Fulqrum Publishing, previously known as 1C Entertainment, have just announced Lovecraft’s Untold Stories has another release date. Although the game was initially scheduled to leave early access on May 17, it’s been delayed for several months.

This week, the studio behind the roguelike game revealed Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2 will be launched on PC, Mac and Linux on September 13. Featuring an intriguing, madness infused narrative wrapped in roguelike, action-heavy gameplay full of nightmarish locations, enemies and bosses, Untold Stories 2 promises to be a lot more enjoyable than the original game.

Apparently, success in the upcoming game will highly depend on your skill with a gun, as well as proper preparation of crafted gear and consumables. Also, selecting the right character for your playstyle is yet another factor that will determine your success or failure.

In Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2, players can switch between 6 different characters that can be unlocked during your journey, each with a different playstyle. Some of the archetypes from the first game will be making a comeback, such as the Detective, the Witch, and the Professor. However, new classes will be coming to the franchise with the second installment, including the Medium, the Veteran, and the Alienist.

Story-wise, Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2 continues the narrative of the first game, but this time players will continue the fight against the unknown with new elements like crafting, which involves using blueprints and resources to create consumables, and new equipment.

As mentioned earlier, Lovecraft’s Untold Stories 2 launches on September 13 on PC, Mac and Linux, and will be available through Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, and other digital stores for $25 / €25, with a 15% store discount available during the first week of release. Make sure to add the game to your Steam wishlist if you plan on playing it on release day.
