LG officially unveiled the rumored LG G7 ThinQ Android-powered smartphone today during an event that took place earlier in New York, the United States.

With a focus on AI (Artificial Intelligence) technologies, the LG G7 ThinQ was officially unveiled today with a notch design that users will be able to hide it if they aren't fans of the notch. AI is apparently integrated into the camera app recognize certain subjects and automatically apply settings for optimal shots.

As rumored last month, the LG G7 ThinQ features a dedicated physical button for Google Assistant, which is tweaked to offer users up to 32 specific commands. Also integrated is a Boombox speaker with 32-bit Quad DAC support for high-quality audio, and wireless charging technologies via Quick Charge 3.0.

Powered by an Octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor and an Adreno 630 GPU, LG G7 ThinQ features a gorgeous and bright 6.1-inch IPS LCD display with 3120x1440 pixels resolution and 19.5:9 ratio, 6GB of RAM, as well as 128GB internal storage that can be expanded to up to 400 GB with a microSD card.

The device comes with a dual rear camera system featuring a 16MP f/1.9 wide-angle lens and a 16MP f/1.6 standard lens, an 8MP f/1.1 wide-angle selfie camera, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, Hi-Fi Quad DAC, DTS:X 3D surround sound, IP68 dust and water resistant compliance, and a 3,000 mAh battery.

LG G7 ThinQ is using Google's Android 8.0 Oreo mobile operating system, though we believe LG will soon update it to the latest Android 8.1 Oreo. The device will be available in four stylish colors, including Aurora Black, Platinum Gray, Moroccan Blue, and Raspberry Rose, and it's coming soon to a store near you.
