Vertical camera layout coming to the Note 10

Samsung Galaxy Note 10 is expected this summer with some pretty huge design changes on the back, and two leaked cases suggest that all the information we have on this model is real.

In other words, yes, the Galaxy Note 10 will indeed come with a vertical camera layout on the back, and yes, the device will boast a triple-camera configuration.

The photos you see here and published by SlashLeaks likely show the standard Galaxy Note 10 with a 6.28-inch display. Samsung is also working on a second Galaxy Note 10 model expected to launch with the Pro tag and feature a larger 6.75-inch screen.

Galaxy Note 10 Pro could be upgraded to a quad-camera system with a 3D sensor and also feature a maximum of 12GB RAM and 1TB storage.

No headphone jack

On the other hand, the leaked cases also confirm that the camera cutout on the front will no longer be placed in the top right corner like on the Galaxy S10 but in the middle of the screen. By the looks of things, the Note 10 will use a single selfie camera, which means that the camera hole won’t be too intrusive.

There’s no fingerprint sensor in sight, and this is an indication that all recent rumors claiming that Samsung would embed it into the glass are accurate. The Note 10 will follow in the footsteps of the Galaxy S10 and move the fingerprint sensor from the back to the screen, so the device will feature an ultrasonic reader.

These cases also come without a cutout for the headphone jack. Recent speculation indicated that Samsung would finally remove the 3.5mm audio connector on the Note 10, so users will have to stick with a USB Type-C connector or switch to wireless headphones. There’s also a chance Samsung offers an USB Type-C to headphone jack adapter in the box.
