Two of the three iPhone models that Apple will launch this year are the subject of a new leak that provides us with an early glimpse into what the new devices are going to look like.

Published by @OnLeaks via TigerMobiles, the video shows two iPhones dummies comparing the upcoming 6.1-inch LCD model and the bigger iPhone X Plus.

The third model in Apple’s lineup is expected to be a successor to the iPhone X looking pretty much the same as the existing model, so these two versions are the ones expected to gain more exposure.

What’s new on these iPhones?

First and foremost, the 6.1-inch iPhone is very likely to boast an LCD screen as a cost-saving method, and this leak shows that Apple will also embrace other ways to reduce the price, including sticking with a single-lens camera.

The overall look of the phone, especially when viewed from the front, reminds of the iPhone X, with a notch at the top of the screen, and obviously without a home button. The rear camera is inspired by the iPhone 8, and is expected to use a similar sensor with small improvements.

The device will feature Face ID, but instead will give up on more premium functionality like wireless charging, with glass to also be replaced with aluminum for the body.

The 6.1-inch iPhone X Plus will be a supersized iPhone X, boasting a 6.5-inch OLED panel and features borrowed from the anniversary model first launched last year. It will also come with a dual-camera system (no triple-lens camera, despite rumors), and will use glass for the body. Wireless charging, Face ID, and all the other features available on the iPhone X will make it to the iPhone X Plus too.

The launch of these models is projected to take place in September, though there’s a chance that sales of the cheaper model would only begin a month later.
