Apple is ready to start the production of the iPhone 13 earlier than usual, as the company wants to make sure that no delay would occur this year and the new devices can launch in September as per the typical release calendar.

And just as expected, more information emerges as we get closer to the expected September unveiling date, with leakster l0vetodream this time providing us with an early look at the battery specifications of the new models.

As it turns out, Apple is finally prepared to offer a massive battery upgrade on the iPhone 13, with the capacity of models to be expanded substantially.

Larger batteries on all models

First of all, it’s the iPhone 13 mini the one that’s getting such an increase, with the upcoming model to feature a 2,406 mAh battery, up from 2,227 mAh on the iPhone 12 mini.

Then, it’s the iPhone 13 and iPhone 13 Pro which will come with a 3,095 mAh battery, a welcome increase from 2,815 mAh on the iPhone 12 and iPhone 12 Pro.

And last but not least, Apple has increased the capacity of the Pro Max from 3,687 mAh on the current model to no less than 4,352 mAh on the iPhone 13, according to the leak. Needless to say, this spec bump should provide users with extra juice and therefore guarantee improved autonomy. But on the other hand, given Apple is also adding new features and capabilities, there’s a chance the battery life wouldn’t be substantially better than the one on the current models, with Apple also expected to turn to heavy software optimization to get better figures.

All iPhone models should see the daylight in September, with the company reportedly planning to begin the sales of the new lineup later the same month for all versions launching this year.
