Apple has kicked off the pre-order program for its new-generation iPhone and Apple Watch, and you can get your own device on the company’s online store here.

Apple announced the iPhone XS, iPhone XS Max, and Apple Watch Series 4 during a press conference on September 12. A third model called iPhone XR was also introduced, but it would only become available in October.

iPhone XS is the direct successor to the iPhone X (which has already been discontinued and is no longer available for sale), and it comes with a similar look, but substantial upgrades under the hood.

It features a 5.8-inch OLED screen, just like the original model, but runs on Apple’s new A12 Bionic chip paired with 4GB RAM – a substantial increase from 3GB last year.

iPhone XS Max, on the other hand, boasts a 6.5-inch OLED panel and is technically a supersized iPhone XS, sporting the same features and hardware. It’s also powered by the A12 chip and comes with 4GB RAM.

Some features not ready yet

Both iPhones support dual-SIM connectivity, but this feature won’t be available at launch. Apple says a future iOS 12 coming later this year would unlock it.

iPhone XS will start at $999 for the version with 64GB storage, while iPhone XS Max with the same amount of storage is available from $1,099. The top iPhone XS Max with 512GB storage costs $1,449 in the US.

Apple Watch Series 4, which now comes in 40mm and 44mm sizes, launches with several notable upgrades, including a larger screen thanks to much smaller bezels. It also offers EKG support, though this feature would only be limited to the United States.

Shipments of the new devices going on sale today will start next Friday on September 21, yet it’s expected that waiting times would increase as more orders are received.
