Apple’s supply issues impacting the iPhone are mostly resolved, and this means the device is finally up for grabs with same or next-day delivery in the majority of regions out there.

In China, the new iPhone generation is believed to be one of the models aiding the recovery of the entire phone market, with a research note released by UBS analysts revealing that iPhone sales went up no more, no less than 88 percent in December versus the previous month.

On the other hand, the local brands improved by just 21 percent, and this shows that the demand for the iPhone remains strong.

Apple finally managed to resolve supply chain issues, and once the iPhone inventory was secured, the company’s shipments took off in the country.

On the other hand, it’s not all just milk and honey for Apple.

The analysts reveal that Apple’s sales fell 28 percent year-over-year, whereas the local brands lost just 23 percent.

“The iPhone sell-in strength is encouraging, it is important to note that sell-in during the fourth quarter was down ~28% owing to the well documented disruptions in October and November. That said, the December data should alleviate investor concerns that material supply chain disruptions continued into 2023,” the analysts were quoted as saying by AI.

In the meantime, it’s believed the Pro models continue to spearhead iPhone 14 sales, whereas the Plus is currently the version that’s only experiencing lackluster demand.

In fact, the Pro configuration has been hit the hardest by the supply chain issues and the lockdowns happening in China, with the waiting time for the device reaching several weeks at one point. All these challenges have been resolved, so right now, whoever wants to purchase an iPhone 14, regardless of version, should be able to get their hands on it during the same day.
