Looks like the supply problems have been resolved

This took a while, but it looks like Apple has finally resolved the supply problems that impacted the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.

After facing ridiculously long waiting times, both Pro models are now available with next-day delivery, as per a new report, and the device is also available in stores for those who want to buy it themselves.

In other words, things have returned to normal after a few very difficult months caused mostly by the issues encountered by Apple’s suppliers in China.

In fact, the long waiting times have been the result of a mix of strong demand for the Pro models and restrictions hitting Chinese suppliers.

iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus also available with next-day delivery

Apple itself confirmed in November last year that Chinese suppliers were struggling with the local pandemic restrictions.

“COVID-19 restrictions have temporarily impacted the primary iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max assembly facility located in Zhengzhou, China. The facility is currently operating at significantly reduced capacity. As we have done throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, we are prioritizing the health and safety of the workers in our supply chain,” the company said.

“We continue to see strong demand for iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max models. However, we now expect lower iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max shipments than we previously anticipated and customers will experience longer wait times to receive their new products.”

In the meantime, the iPhone 14 and the iPhone 14 Plus remained unaffected by the supply challenges, so customers ordering these models aren’t facing any waiting time whatsoever. This could be a sign that both are actually recording lackluster demand, while the Pro models continue to be the one spearheading the sales in the majority of markets.
