Though the charger is unlikely to be included in the box

Apple’s new iPhone 14 lineup is just around the corner, and the closer we get to the launch, the more information on the new devices makes the headlines.

This time, Twitter user DuanRui claims the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max would support 30W charging, as an Apple partner has already started sending charging bricks to the media for testing.

Furthermore, it looks like Apple will promote the new charging power in iPhone 14 ads, though on the other hand, the device wouldn’t come with the charger in the box – this is because the smartphone no longer includes anything else than the cable in the box, so buyers would have to purchase the charger separately.

“The iPhone 14 Pro series may use 30W charging power? Recently, a charger brand began to send new charger products to the media, and it will advertise in the experience video of the iPhone 14 series,” DuanRui says on Twitter.

New iPhones launching in early September

Apple will take the wraps off the new iPhone generation on September 7, and the sales should theoretically begin a week later.

At this point, however, it’s not yet known if the company will start selling all models at the same time or if certain devices could end up hitting a delay, but without a doubt, Apple has been working around the clock on securing the necessary inventory for all configurations.

The new iPhones will launch alongside the new-generation Apple Watch, and this time, Apple is also launching a Pro-branded smartwatch that will come with upgraded hardware and a new design. The Apple Watch Pro could come with flat sides, a change that was initially rumored to go live on the Apple Watch Series 7.

For now, however, Apple has obviously remained completely tight-lipped on everything related to the 2022 device lineup.
