Apple has shipped the very first units of the iPhone 13, with all devices projected to reach their customers on Friday, as per the original schedule.

Apple originally started taking pre-orders for the new-generation iPhone on Friday, and now most devices are already on route to their customers.

While Apple no longer provides any figures related to the first-weekend sales, it looks like the iPhone 13 recorded pretty solid demand, as all models, including even the 5.4-inch model, are no longer available with September 24 shipping.

In fact, the shipping date for nearly every iPhone in the lineup has already been pushed back to October, with the 512GB iPhone mini, for instance, projected to arrive in the hands of a customer ordering it today between October 8 and October 13.

Still no word on the Apple Watch shipping dates

Apple hasn’t provided any specifics on when the company is projected to start selling the Apple Watch Series 7, with the original announcement only promising an ETA sometimes later this fall.

The Cupertino-based tech giant is believed to be encountering inventory issues possibly caused by production struggles, and this is the reason the Apple Watch Series 7 isn’t hitting the shelves this month alongside the iPhone 13.

As compared to previous leaks, the Series 7 doesn’t come with a dramatic design overhaul, as Apple has decided to stick with the curved edges, possibly due to the production problems encountered by suppliers. Furthermore, the new smartwatch is a rather subtle upgrade in terms of hardware as well, as it’s believed the same processor as on the Apple Watch Series 6 is still being used, with the only notable improvements coming in terms of display size and battery charging speed.

The Apple Watch Series 7 will be available for $399 once it goes on sale this fall.
