Apple is projected to take the wraps off new iPhones in the fall, and a concept video that was published on YouTube this week provides us with a closer look at what to expect.

Created by ConceptsiPhone, the video shows the iPhone 12’s design being heavily inspired by the iPhone 4, a device that everyone loved and which many want to see coming back in a modern flavor.

This kind of already happened, as the iPhone SE was a modern interpretation of the original design, all with square edges too, only that this approach has eventually been dropped on the 2020 model. The new iPhone SE is now based on the iPhone 8, and features the new iPhone look with rounded corners and everything.

And now the only hope for the iPhone 4 to survive moving forward is the iPhone 12, which could eventually end up looking like the one in this video.

Four iPhones on the way

Apple will unveil four different iPhone models this year with the smallest model now coming with a 5.4-inch display.

All iPhones will boast 5G support, and this upgrade is believed to be causing particular struggles to the Cupertino-based tech giant, as the company expects a price increase for the 2020 generation. To deal with the whole thing, however, Apple is ready to switch to a dramatic decision: the company wants to pull the charger from the box of the iPhone in an attempt to keep the price at the same level as on the 2019 generation.

In other words, customers would just have to buy a charger separately or use an old one or wireless charging if such hardware is available. Apple is yet to confirm the change, but we’ll find out everything in just a few weeks, as the unveiling could take place in September or October.
