Intel has announced the availability of a new Wireless Bluetooth version, namely 22.10.0, which includes functional and security updates, and implements several fixes in order to improve overall stability for both end customers (such as home users) and IT administrators.

Specifically speaking, this update addresses an issue where some devices may stop working or lose connection while in use when multiple Bluetooth devices are connected simultaneously, and removes the yellow bang seen in Device Manager after rebooting or resuming from Sleep/ Hibernation mode.

When it comes to the downloadable files, Intel has provided several packages specifically designed for Windows 10 32- and 64-bit variants that can be used by home users and IT administrators.

In terms of supported adapters, both versions are suitable for Intel’s Wireless-N 7260/7265 units, Wireless-AC 9260, 9461, 9462, and 9560 adapters, and Tri-Band Wireless-AC 17265, 18260, and 18265 hardware.

Moreover, Intel’s Dual Band Wireless-AC 3165, 3168, 7265, 8260, and 8265 adapters, as well as its Wi-Fi 6, Wi-Fi 6 AX200, Wi-Fi 6 AX201, and Wi-Fi 6E AX210 (Gig+) products are also compatible with this release.

Last but not least, if you intend to apply this latest version on your system, save the appropriate file for your computer’s OS (extract it if necessary), run the available setup, and follow all instructions displayed for a complete and successful installation.
