Trusted sources are telling 9to5mac that iOS 6 will include a number of features from OS X Mountain Lion, including iCloud Tabs support, Mail VIPs, and Notification Center’s “Do Not Disturb” function.

iCloud Tabs allows users to have their Safari tabs synced across multiple iOS devices and Macs, whereas Mail VIPs enables users to immediately spot messages from important people in their contacts list by placing a star next to the emails received from that person, or a specified group of people.

The “Do Not Disturb” feature, borrowed from OS X Mountain Lion (Apple’s upcoming desktop OS) is also coming to iOS 6. This appears to be one of the most appreciated new additions regarding Notification Center’s usability, as it enables people to feel important.

Jokes aside, the feature will prove useful on the 3.5-inch screens of the iPhone and iPod touch, where notifications usually require much scrolling.
