HPLIP 3.19.12 is now available for download

The HP Linux Imaging and Printing (HPLIP) software, an open-source and free print, scan and fax driver solution for HP printers and scanners, has been updated to version 3.19.5 for Linux-based operating systems.

The HP Linux Imaging and Printing 3.19.5 software release is now available with support for a plethora of new HP printers, among which we can mention HP LaserJet Enterprise M507n, HP LaserJet Enterprise M507dn, HP LaserJet Enterprise M507x, HP LaserJet Enterprise M507dng, HP LaserJet Managed E50145dn, HP LaserJet Managed E50145x, and HP LaserJet Enterprise MFP M528dn.

The HP LaserJet Enterprise MFP M528f, HP LaserJet Enterprise Flow MFP M528c, HP LaserJet Enterprise Flow MFP M528z, HP LaserJet Managed MFP E52645dn, HP LaserJet Managed Flow MFP E52645c, HP Color LaserJet Managed E75245dn, HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M751n, HP Color LaserJet Enterprise M751dn, and HP PageWide XL 3900PS MFP printers are also now supported by HPLIP.

Furthermore, the HP OfficeJet Pro 8030 All-in-One Printer series, HP OfficeJet Pro 8020 All-in-One Printer series, HP OfficeJet 8020 All-in-One Printer Series, and HP OfficeJet 8010 All-in-One Printer series are supported as well, so we recommend updating to HP Linux Imaging and Printing version 3.19.5 software and drivers as soon as possible if you own any of these HP printers and use a GNU/Linux operating system.

Ubuntu 19.04, Debian GNU/Linux 9.8, and Fedora 30 are now supported

Besides adding support for the new HP printers listed above, the HP Linux Imaging and Printing 3.19.5 release also brings support for various new GNU/Linux distributions released recently, such as Ubuntu 19.04 (Disco Dingo), Debian GNU/Linux 9.8, and Fedora 30. If you have any of these operating system installed on your personal computer and a HP printer or scanner, you will need to install HPLIP 3.19.5.

You can download HP Linux Imaging and Printing 3.19.5 right now from our free software portal, but you'll have to compile it for your Linux distro and architecture, so we recommend installing it from the stable software repositories of your GNU/Linux distribution instead, if available.
