Apparently, the game will launch on next-gen consoles

Grand Theft Auto VI (6) hasn’t even been announced yet, and rumors and possible leaks are already making the rounds online.

Grand Theft Auto titles are among the most anticipated games in the industry, and Rockstar manages to keep a tight lid on any information. In fact, they have yet to confirm that they are even working on it, although it would be difficult to believe that they are not.

It should be no surprise that leaks about Grand Theft Auto VI have already started to float around, and the fact that the potential sources are immediately deleted from the Internet only makes them more believable.

Bigger is better?

If someone posts details about an upcoming game and the studio don’t even acknowledge that the leak exists, there’s a good chance that people will actually ignore it, no matter how plausible it sounds. On the other hand, if the source of information is immediately deleted, it starts to look a little bit fishy.

According to a report on Wccftech, someone posted on Pastebin quite a bit of information. For example, the game would include multiple major cities from the franchise, like Vice City and Liberty City and some mechanics from Red Dead Redemption 2 will be made available (stranger dialogues).

More interestingly, Grand Theft Auto VI will most likely be released on the next generation of consoles from Microsoft and Sony, as the current generation is not capable of handling such massive environments.

It could very well be someone posting stuff online, with nothing to back it up, but the information quickly disappeared. To make it even more believable, it looks like the listing on Pastebin was deleted by staff and not by the original author.

Even if this is true, we won’t be able to play Grand Theft VI until 2020, the earliest. Check below for the entire Pastebin text.
