According to a tip from MySmartPrice, Google will launch its smart speaker dubbed Google Home Hub, with a 7-inch display and support for Google Assistant during the Made by Google event on October 9, in New York.

Google's Home Hub smart speaker will be a direct competitor to Amazon's Echo Show and Lenovo's Smart Display, and it will take advantage of the artificial intelligence of the Google Assistant to provide users with a genuinely hands-off experience.

The leaked product renders and promo images unveil the exact form factor of the future Google which will look like a tablet with full-range built-in speakers, a 7-inch touchscreen display, and will come in chalk and charcoal colors.

The reported Google Home Hub would also feature inbuilt far-field voice recognition tech to make it easy for Google's virtual assistant to understand voice commands.

Moreover, the Google Home Hub will provide support for pairing with Nest devices and more than 5000 other smart appliances from 400 brands, all controllable using your voice for effortlessly managing your smart home.

With Google's Home Hub smart speaker users will also be able to view pictures from their Google Photos libraries, with the bonus of being able to filter and access any of them via voice commands.

The Home Hub smart device will feature support for viewing your Google calendar, your reminders, and details about your daily commute to make it easier to organize your day before leaving the house.

Furthermore, the Google Home Hub weighs 480g, comes with color and ambient light sensors, and will be able to connect to 2.4 and 5 GHz Wi-Fi networks.
