14 DAY TRIAL // Google has recently announced that it will be giving away sweaters for Pixel phones and their owners in NYC. The pop-up store in Manhattan is running a promotion until December 23, offering the promised sweaters to Pixel phones and their owners.
The promotion states that customers could get a sweater-shaped cookie, a Pixel sweater for their phones, a human-sized sweater, a Pixel phone or a combination of these items. The pop-up Google store even has a knitting machine and yarn in various colors for creating the sweaters.
Truth be told, the sweaters aren’t that appealing, but they do fall perfectly in the spirit of the upcoming holidays and would be useful for keeping customers and their phones warm, considering that winter is in full swing and temperatures are dropping.
Google is also offering 15% of Live Cases for Pixel phones
An interesting fact is that the knitting machine is powered by a bicycle, so you’d be able to exercise a bit while creating your own sweater. The first 150 people who visited the store received a sweater for their Pixel units and themselves, but truth be told, they did have to endure the cold until entering the store. Customers can visit the store on 96 Spring Street in Manhattan, every day until 6pm on December 23 for a chance to get the Pixel sweater.
The tech giant is also offering $15 off Live Cases for the Pixel or Pixel XL, customers only need to use the HOLIDAYLIVECASE coupon code to take advantage of the discount. Google also released holiday-designed cases for the Pixel, Pixel XL, Nexus 6P, and Nexus 5X.
As the holidays are approaching, more and more smartphone makers and retailers will be launching promotions to attract customers, so keep an eye out for various freebies.
