Google’s Magic Eraser is a fantastic app. It allows you to remove other people or objects from your photos in a matter of seconds, just like you’d be some sort of Photoshop wizard.
Magic Eraser uses AI-powered technology to do its magic, and you only need to select the objects that you want to be gone and that’s pretty much it. The app takes care of the rest, with the results being impressive, to say the least.
It goes without saying that many people out there have been interested in trying out Magic Eraser, but its availability has been fairly limited.
This is why Google has decided to do something in this regard, so this week, the company has announced that the app is launching on the latest Pixel phones, while also going live for iPhone and Android Google One users.
“Now we’re bringing Magic Eraser and other enhanced editing features to more people. Starting today, Google One members — on both Android and iOS — and all Pixel users will be able to enjoy Magic Eraser, a new HDR video effect and exclusive collage styles,” Google announced.
The app expands with the same rich collection of features, so using it continues to be as straightforward as possible.
“It’s frustrating when you think you have the perfect shot, only to discover distractions in the background. Magic Eraser detects distractions in your photos, like photobombers or power lines, so you can remove them in just a few taps. You can also circle or brush other things you want to erase and Magic Eraser will make them disappear. Plus, Camouflage in Magic Eraser can change the color of objects in your photo to help them blend in naturally with the rest of the photo — putting the focus on what matters,” the company says.
As said, only Google One users can try it out, so you know what you have to do if Magic Eraser sounds like something you’d like to have.
