14 DAY TRIAL // Sony and Santa Monica Studio have just revealed the most anticipated game of the year, God of War Ragnarok, releases on November 9. The game will be available on both PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 consoles, with pre-orders kicking off on July 15.
Along with the release date, Sony also announced that four editions of God of War Ragnarok will be available for purchase starting next week. Regardless of what edition of the game players pre-order, they will receive two-in game cosmetics: Kratos Risen Snow Armor and Atreus Risen Snow Tunic.
The Standard Edition of God of War Ragnarok will sell for $60-$70, depending on the platform. PlayStation 4 players will have the option to upgrade to the PS5 version for $10, regardless of whether they have a physical or digital edition.
God of War Ragnarok Digital Deluxe Edition includes a bunch of cosmetic items, many of them available at different moments in the game. No price has been revealed for this edition, but we know it will include the following: Kratos Darkdale Amor, Atreus Darkdale Attire, Darkdale Blades Handles for the Blades of Chaos, Darkdale Axe Grip for the Leviathan Axe, God of War Ragnarok Digital Soundtrack, Dark Horse Digital Mini Art book, Avatar Set, and PS4 Theme.
Moving on to the God of War Ragnarok Collector’s Edition, this will be much more expensive (no price announce yet), but it will be well worth the money. It comes with a 16-inch Mjolnir Hammer Replica, 2-inch Vanir Twins Carvings, Dwarven Dice Set, Steelbook case, as well as all the items offered by the Digital Deluxe Edition.
Finally, the God of War Jotnar Edition is probably the ultimate gift for God of War fans. It includes a 7-inch vinyl with two tracks by Bear McCreary, The Falcon, Bear, and Wolf Pin Set, The Legendary Draupnir Ring in a red cloth bag, Brok’s Dice Set, Yggdrasil Cloth Map, 16-inch Mjolnir Replica, 2-inch Vanir Twins Carvings, Steelbook case, a digital code for the game (PS4 and PS5), and all the items from the Digital Deluxe Edition.
